VSDB/Staunton Directions

News (Updates)

DHHSC-Staunton moved again!  Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) needed my old office space while they undergo some more renovations on campus and was able to return to VA School for the Deaf and the Blind (VSDB) in December 2012.  The office is currently located in Byrd Hall, room 2-2.  It is located by the Main Hall and the main visitors parking lot.  All contact information remains the same, just the office itself moved.

FYI, Byrd Hall has 4 columns while the Main Hall has 6 huge columns.

 TIP: Follow the brown/historic Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind signs found all over the city.  The school is located near the heart of the city also.

Traveling West on I-64
	Take Exit 87 (I-81 North towards Staunton/Winchester) Take Exit 222 (Route 250 West towards Staunton) Go 2.6 miles and turn right (at what looks like the end of the road next to a railroad bridge) onto Route 11/Greenville Avenue   * Get into the middle lane as you go under the railroad bridge to get onto South Coalter Road (Route 254) straight ahead * Go 0.2 miles and turn right at the next light (or the second right turn) onto East Beverly Street Go 0.1 miles and turn right at a flashing red light for VSDB Drive (next to the school’s sign with acorns on top of the posts) Go straight to the Main Hall’s visitors parking lot (actually a circle in front of the Main Hall building itself) Byrd Hall is located to the right of Main Hall
Traveling on I-81
