Who We Are

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Center, Inc. (DHHSC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in Virginia, established in 1995 with its main office located in Roanoke, VA and satellite offices across the state. DHHSC provides information and services for our communities.

Non-Profit Means Community

Comprehending and communicating with someone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing can be difficult, especially when you don’t know the signs to look out for. This organization is here to help support and ensure that the deaf and hard of hearing community can experience as much accessibility as possible in their day-to-day lives. It could be through sharing information about financial assistance for the purchase of hearing aids or about accessible businesses. We also provide free presentations for businesses or private organizations.

As a small, non-profit organization, we depend on interested people who give of their time and resources to help keep our services going. If you are interested in helping, please contact us. The button below will point you to a couple of ways you can support our non-profit.
